Why computers not show correct date and time?
In PC, the date and time not shown properly.The time and date count only when we switch on the PC. Because failure of battery in motherboard .The battery is there as shown in left side figure. The battery is used for two purposes: to feed the configuration memory (also called CMOS) and to feed the real time clock of the computer (the one that show the date and the time).
The motherboard battery come with three different technologies: Nickel-cadmium (NiCd), NVRAM (Non-Volatile RAM) and Lithium (Li).
The lithium battery may use basically three socket types: socket with upper tab , socket with lateral tab and the socket into which the battery stands instead of lying .
The above figures are different types of batterys in motherboard.Replace those batterys for getting correct date and time.
