STAR Ananda is a national Bengali news channel in India. This channel is co-production of STAR TV and Anandabazar Patrika. It is a 24-hour free-to-air channel, and was launched on 1 June 2005.

STAR Ananda is broadcast by Media Content & Communications Services India Pvt. Ltd. (MCCS), a 74:26 joint venture between ABP TV – a 100% subsidiary of ABP Pvt. Ltd., and STAR News Broadcasting Ltd., wholly-owned subsidiary of the STAR Group; two of the biggest brands in Indian media.
