Karnataka Assembly Elections
From 10th of May assembly elections will start in Karnataka. These elections will take place in three phases on 10th, 16th and 22nd May, 2008. These elections are very important in the national politics because these elections can tell some expected trends in next year Lok Sabha elections. For BJP, these elections are very important because BJP want to complete its dream of making first time BJP lead government in any southern state.
According to most of the pre-poll surveys, Congress is going to emerge as single largest party in Karnataka and will get seats equal to or slight less than majority. Congress is expected to get 100-115 seats in these elections, while BJP is expected to get 55-65, JD(S) 30-40 and others 10-15 seats. There are total 224 seats in Karnataka assembly and therefore, any party can make government by getting 113 seats. you can get the results in www.ceokarnataka.kar.nic.in, eci.gov.in, tv9 live.

I would like to tell that all minority staying places should be taken care in bangalore as well as entire state.I mean supply of drinking water, power supply, roads, drainages, etc which will inturn help u to stay as CM till ur last days

Though the JD(s) is only a regional party, this party fight with the big national party i.e. Congress and BJP and bag 3 seats out of 8 seats in Dec 2008 by election in Karnataka. This shows that the JD (S) is will come to power in the next general election.

JDS always rules,this time it might have lost due to some cheap politics by BJP,but no other chief minister can emerge in karnataka like Kumarswamy. BJP is just an money maker, no developments as such in Karnataka not even a percent, The worst goverment we had ever seen is ruling the state,how sad!!!! People atleast now wake up and see for the future,

First thing Congratulation to BJP and Yediruppa, and welcome as a chief minister of Karnataka, it is a good lesson to Dave Gowda Family, And we hop Yediruppa will Rule
Karnataka to develop in all sector, Karnataka Has its own identity in India and world as a Matured and literate state which is back bone for IT and Space world so we hope yedirupa will rule for the development Karanataka better than others, Rather than ruling with cheap politics of Idolism which leads for the destruction of Karnataka and its Image in the world. And it is the first time a literate peoples has chosen the BJP so this is the chance to show the BJP as a real secular political party.

I got an opportunity to read the comments posted by various people from different locations about the elction result and personal opinion about BJP…well large number of the peole are of the good opinion and appreciate the verdict and has faith in BJP…thanks to the people of karnataka for atleast giving an opportunity to BJP show to the rest of the world what they can do.
Well few peole had expressed their unhappy aboout BJP coming to power,they are of the opinion that BJP IS COMMUNAL PARTY and there will be violence and another gujarat will be created and muslims will not have freedom…I would like to ask simple question to them
1.when was babar masjid destroyed and at that time which government was in power ?when BJP came into power even though Adwani said will build rama temple were they succeeeded ?there was huge pressure from shivsena vishwa hindu parishad but then Vajpayee acted responsibily..
2.every body know India is peace loving country and people can lead a independent life.even muslim cannot live happily in they own country.best ex.Pakistan.extremists rule their country and government has less control.
3.congress ruled our country for more that 50 years and what their contribution to the country.did ther removed complete poverty.did 100% education achieved.did they control overpopulation.you know in karnataka alone there are still 800 slum areas,without hakku pathra,proper drinking water ,drainage,toilets etc…
Always peole comment on Gujrat.tell me then how did Modi managed to win majority in rescent election do you thinkd entire people of ghujrat are fools,if so then you are big fool and trying to make others fool…
4.Congress known for roudism,blackmoney,poor remain poor rich become more rich by sucking poor peoples blood, what not……at the time of election Congress party supply more of ellicit liquors,money, saree,and other chaep material/things which will not last for a week and will gain vote,is this responsible party should do to get votes…

BJP has to do something, which was not done other parties. Has to work on improving Bangalore still more on IT (has to give more importance to d kannadigas in the IT companies, as they r minor in most of the companies in Bangalore)..also need to take care of former. Plz give more importance to kannadigas in all fields…..i have seen outsider saying bloody kannadigas, they r not up to d mark like us (especially Tamilans say this), n dats y they r less in IT companies….v have to teach a lesson 2 them, plz take of Kauvery as she is important to Kannadigas.

First of all I congratulate BJP..,
I would like to say that, for the sake of Power and greed before BJP had accepted the offer of the most corrupt party to rule., now people of karnataka had provided opportunity BJP to rule, not because of good governance, its a purely on the ground of Smypathy because, before they ditched by Deve Gow…,
So people of the karnataka expects good rule, they should work in the best interest of the karnataka development ., I hope BJP will definetly rule with Honesty, Impartial and with Intigrity, if people bring them back again only on the basis of their respective MLA work development, and never on the basis of Hatred, Communal and Dirty politics, I hope this will never happens.
