India’s sexy tennis player Sania Mirza is gets engaged on 10th July 2009.

The celebrations were started with a ceremonial exchange of rings. Sania was dressed in a traditional emerald green and gold ghagra (designed by Shantanu & Nikhil).

Sohrab Mirza is a B.Com graduate from St. Mary’s college and will soon joining his MBA class of British University, UK. Mr. Mirza is expected to fily UK very soon.

Muhammad Sohrab and Sania Mirza studied in the similar schools, were family friends from a long time as they live in the same city. . The function of engagement was held at five star hotel in Hyderabad.

Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza is not in news these days regarding her sport but regarding her engagement. Today is the big day for the tennis star who declared her plans of getting married to Sohrab Mirza (her childhood friend) about a month back saying that the engagement will take place on July 10. There has been a lot of speculations regarding the engagement as nothing about the guest list, venue, food being served as nothing has been known yet.

The designer duo Nikhil- Shantanu has worked on Sania’s outfit for the event as Nikhil has been quoted saying that he is “designing an outfit for Sania” but abstained from giving away the details. According to various sources the event will be attended by more than 600 guests and will take place at a five star hotel in Hyderabad.
