* Rahul Gandhi is an Indian politician and member of the Parliament of India.

* Gandhi is a member of the Nehru-Gandhi political family, the son of current Congress President Sonia Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi, the former Prime Minister who was assassinated in 1991.

* Rahul Gandhi was 14 years old when his grandmother, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, was assassinated by her security guards.

* Rahul Gandhi great-grandfather, Jawaharlal Nehru, was the first Prime Minister of India.

* Rahul Gandhi great-great-grandfather, Motilal Nehru, was a distinguished leader of the Indian independence movement. In 2004, he reportedly had a Spanish girlfriend, an architect whom he met in England.

Education:

* Rahul Gandhi attended St.Columba’s School, New Delhi before entering the The Doon School. The Doon School had been his father’s alma mater.

* Rahul Gandhi attended Doon from 1981-83 before being home-schooled for security reasons.

* His admission to St Stephen’s College was controversial as he was believed to have been admitted on the basis of his abilities as a competitive pistol shooter, which was disputed. He left the school in 1990, after one year of education.

* It is reported that Harvard alumni records list him as attending between 1990 and 1993 but not as completing a degree. He transferred, reportedly due to security concerns following his father’s assassination, to Rollins College in Florida where he completed a B.A. in 1994.

* During the parliamentary elections in 2004, Gandhi claimed that he had received an MPhil in Development Economics after attending Trinity College, Cambridge. Media enquiries report that he attended under the alias “Raul Vinci”.

* He worked in London with the strategy consultancy firm Monitor Group, before returning to India in late 2002 to run an engineering and technology outsourcing firm in Mumbai.

Rumors: ( Some peoples trying to kill his image in the society and politics )

Rahul Gandhi’s legal affairs team has taken a number of heavy-handed measures to prevent damage to his image. For example, when Newsweek alleged in late 2006 that he had not completed his degrees at Harvard and Cambridge or kept his job at the Monitor Group, they were slapped with a legal notice, following which they hastily retracted or qualified their earlier statements.

In these elections congress is said to have revived itself in Uttar Pradesh by winning 21 out of the total 80 Lok Sabha seats and the majority of the credit for this turnaround is given to Rahul Gandhi.

He spoke at 125 rallies across the country in six weeks.

    Dear Rahulji,
Happy birthday. Pl. fight for removing the reservation system as it has not successful since it is running endlessly. It has been used by the politicians for their own benefit. It should be on the basis of economic status only , not on caste, creed ,religions etc.

    Dear Mr. Rahul,
I have the honour to introduce myself as an enlightened citizen of this great country and is practising in Punjab and Haryana High Court for the last over 23 years. I am really impressed by your approach towards the opressed classes and your concerted efforts to take out the congress party from the clutches of corrupt and inefficient people / leaders. Your great father Sh. Rajiv Gandhi had also aspired the same and brought radical changes during his Prime Ministership but unfortunately, he was snatched away by nature at an early age. i am forseeing a bright and vibrant India in the times to come under your Great Leadership. India definately needs young people with novel ideas for its rapid progress.

I hereby propose some ideas for revamping the congress party at the grass-root level :

    1) Young people should be given preference in the party organisational set-up at block and district level.
    2) The office bearers should involve themselves in real community service by organising medical check-up camps in the slum areas atleast once a month.
    3) The office bearers should collect money from the community and to provide a free ambulance service to the poor, needy and down-trodden people.
    4) When-ever, a death or mishap occurs in any of the family of the city, block or village, a condolance letter from the congress party office should be despatched to the bereaved family and prefereably a team of four members should visit the house to condole the death on behalf of congress party irrespective of caste, creed or status of the family.
    5) On the eve of marriage of a girl, a token amount of Rs. 101/= should be presented to the family on behalf of the party.
    6) That a complete data-base should be maintained in the party office and the information technology should be utilised to its optimum level through SMS services and involve people at large in the party activities.
    7) Some dynamic people, who don’t have any source of income, should be appointed as Pracharaks of the party and they should be given intensive training time to time.

Here are some of the suggestions, which in my opinion, can be very useful in the total transformation of the party and in my opinion, if we adopt some of the measures, we shall not only be doing the community service but also will be contributing a little-bit to the efforts of our great fore-fathers who had established the grand old party for the welfare of the people atlarge.

I don’t have any political ambition but want to repay to the society by my suggestions and ideas.

I shall be grateful in case, you give me some time for a personal audience.

    Thanks + Regards,

    AJAY JAIN

    Dear RAHULJI,
I want to give u one advice on MAHENGAI topic because I am one of the common girl of India who is suffering by MAHENGAI.
why don’t we have WALMART like company in INDIA. This company is in USA and China, because of which goods prize are near the ground level.
WALMART is the best scheme in which brokers are removed and there is a direct connection between supplier and shop, because of which prize of goods are low.
This is profitable for Government, Aam Janta and farmer. Only so many levels or steps of brokers will be removed. and Congress will get a plus point of getting this scheme in India.
NDTV news channel also discussed the same point in news point.
Sir, initially u can bring this scheme in Metros then in district level then in taluka level.
PLEASE DON’T NEGLECT THINK SERIOUSLY AND TAKE STEP AHEAD ASAP
