Eligibility criteria:
The candidate must pass in the class 12th board examination or any other equivalent examination.
If a candidate is appearing for B.E/B.Tech examination then he has physics and mathematics as the compulsory subjects and any one from Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, and Biology.
If the candidate is appearing for B. Arch / B.Planning then Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate at10+2 level is the compulsion.
Important dates:
* 26.04.2009- examination day. Exam starts at 9:30am
* 05.10.2008 to 05.01.2009- availability of examination forms, prospectus and online submission of applications.
* 15.12.2008- last day for requesting application form by post.
* 10.01.2009- last day to submit application forms.
* 07.06.2009- result declared on this date or before this date.
NOTE: the dates mentioned above are only proposed and as soon as the dates are officially declared by AIEEE, this post will be updated.

All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) 2008 results
The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is organized by the CBSE in India for admission to various under-graduate courses in engineering and architecture. Admission to the prestigious National Institutes of Technology is through this test.
Students qualifying the entrance examination would be eligible for admission in various National Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Information Technology and Deemed Universities. The entrance was conducted on April 27 at 1299 centres in 75 cities across the country and abroad.
This year 7,92,752 candidates had appeared for the AIEEE-2008, the release said.

The final cutoff has been uploaded after some major changes, the first one was too liberal as I soon figured out after posting it. This should be closer to the actual ranks one can expect in AIEEE 2009.
