Bharati Vidyapeeth University started functioning in April, 1996 after receiving communication from the Government of India granting of status of ‘University’ under section of the UGC Act, 1996 to a cluster of institutions of Bharati Vidyapeeth, which is a parent organization of this University. The recognition as ‘University’ was given to these institutions in appreciation of their high academic excellence, rich infrastructural facilities and the potential for further growth.

Bharati Vidyapeeth University invites applications from all the candidates who are interested in taking admission in various professional courses. The university takes admission on the basis of the merit obtained by the students in the entrance test which is usually conducted for admissions into B.Tech course at New Delhi & Pune and MCA Course at New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria:

For B.Tech (CET):

* The candidate must have cleared their 10+2 examinations from any of the recognized board.
* The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks as aggregate in the final examinations.
* The candidate currently in their 10+2 standard are also eligible for the same.

For MCA course:

* The candidate must have obtained their BCA degree from any of the recognized board.
* The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks as aggregate in the qualifying examinations.
* The candidate currently pursuing their BCA are also eligible for the same.

Important Dates:

* Last date for submission of completed application forms for CET: May 11, 2009.
* Last date for submission of completed application forms for B.CAT II: May 5, 2009.
* CET Engineering 2009: May 24, 2009 (11 AM to 2 PM).
* B.CAT II 2009 for MCA: May 17, 2009 (10 AM to 12:30 PM)
